In this interview, Indiana University Profesor Emeritus Jesús Dapena explains how he entered the field of Sport Biomechanics, and discusses the development of the field since then.
In 2018 Bonnie Brownlee of the Indiana University Emeriti House interviewed me as part of an oral history project linked to the 200th anniversary of Indiana University. I was among a series of retired faculty who were interviewed to explain how they arrived at their chosen field of work, and to describe the nature of their work. The interview was carried out in two separate sessions. The first one was on March 23, and the second one on October 3.
