Academic record:

Attended the Universidad Complutense (Madrid, Spain) 1967-1973, and obtained the degree of Licenciado in Biological Sciences in 1973.

Attended the University of Iowa 1974-1979, and obtained the Ph.D. degree in Physical Education (Biomechanics) in 1979. 

 Licenciado thesis:
